Interactive Multimedia

For over 20 years I have been creating interactive multimedia programs. Everything from touch screen kiosks, interactive videodisc, cd-rom based delivery platforms, ASCII-based presentations (if you can imagine that!), to fully immersed 3D environments to include digitized video, animation (both vector and raster), and much more! I have created programs for clients ranging from small non-profit corporations to large Fortune 500 corporations. Below are just a few examples of my involvement in interactive multimedia.

National Oceanographic Institute

This program was designed as conceptual interface design with 3D animation depicting organic vehicles to be used for deep sea scientific research.

Basic Multimedia Design

This program was designed to teach the very basic rules as they apply to creating your own multimedia titles. Basically, this program included Do's and Don'ts of the design and development process as well as a few good tips and tricks.

Hall of Presidents

This program was created for elementary school use. Each president was profiled in an interactive format. This program included historic data, images, and the inaugural addresses of each president.

Mayfair Renaissance

This program was created as an interactive selling tool for high-rise condominiums in midtown Atlanta. Each floor plan was displayed in a fully interactive 3D environment. The buyer could even choose the view as seen from any floor, experience the different amenities, and learn about the attractions that are close by. This tool helped sell the majority of these condos before the building was even built!

Haverty's Interactive Architecture

This program was another type of selling tool. This was another 3D depiction of a building being displayed before it is built. In this case, before the building was approved. This program was used by Haverty's to convince financial institutions to finance the new Haverty's store to be located at the Mall of Georgia. This store now exists and we revisited the original program to add video of the store in use today.

Compaq - The New World of Computing

This program was used as a "virtual viewing room" that enabled the executives of Compaq Computers to view a series of promotional videos and commercials that were to air upon the completion of Compaq's purchase of Digital Equipment Corporation.

Interactive Basic Instructional Systems Design

This program described, in an interactive, self-paced format, the various methodologies as they relate to the Instructional Systems Design, or ISD, processes. There are several ideologies and learning styles that are covered in this program.

Digital Equipment Corp., MCS On The Move

This program was created for Digital Equipment Corporation (which became Compaq, which became HP...). This program is used to describe the various programs used by Digital. We used digital video over 3D scenes to bring rich, immersive, and interactive environments to the user.

Cub Scout Basic Information

This program was created for new leaders just getting involved in Cub Scouting. It included basic information on topics such as committee positions, cub activities, uniforms, rank and requirements, and resources. This included custom computer graphics, scanned photographs, and a graphical navigation.

Campaign 2002 Scrapbook

This program was created as a pictorial history of the campaign of Honorable Diane Z. Grasse, 16th District Representative of the Georgia State House of Representatives. The entire campaign is documented by pictures and sound bites. Diane's began her campaign with an extensive web site designed by MidNite Media.

3-Dimension Company Marketing Piece

This CD was created for Atlanta-based 3-Dimension, a company that specializes in 3D visualization, graphics, and animation. This CD-ROM accompanies several pieces of marketing collateral.

Proposed Museum Kiosk

This program was created as a conceptualization tool for the creation of interactive multimedia kiosks depicting vintage World War II aircraft.

Aids Interactive Information Series

This program was created and distributed freely to all schools, universities, government agencies, military, and places of business in all 50 states and six countries. It was translated into many different languages. It was created as a way to dispel myths about Aids and to alleviate fears through educating people about those afflicted with this disease.

Adeza Medical

This program was created as a product awareness tool. Adeza Medical has developed a tool to assist OB/GYNs in their testing for Fetal Fibronectin or FFN. This demonstration included 3D animation showcasing the new product and how it is used.

School Night for Scouting

This program was created as a marketing tool for Boy Scout Troop 125 to assist in marketing and membership of the troop. When a boy joined the troop, the new scout was given a welcome packet that included this program on CD which had all the information necessary to obtain their first rank.

These titles represent some of the most recent of over 170 multimedia titles that have been developed over the years. I specialize in the conversion of printed material into interactive multimedia programs with very fast turn-around time. Let me bring my experience to your table as part of your multimedia development solutions team.
